The Times gives England '0' ratings across the board after Euro 2016 exit

The time-honoured tradition of rating players for the England national team is a beloved part of the footballing experience during major international tournaments, and one that The Times took quite seriously after the Three Lions were dumped out of Euro 2016 by Iceland in the Round of 16.

Every single England player was given a rating of zero in this scathing review by one of the United Kingdom's largest media outlets, with no mercy being shown to even Marcus Rashford, who featured for only a few minutes at the end of the final match.

On goalkeeper Joe Hart, the Times wrote he was "Beaten too easily" and Wayne Rooney was criticized for giving the ball away "far too frequently." Youngsters Dele Alli ("finishing let him down") and Eric Dier ("half-time substitution was harsh") were not immune, either.
