Kevin Durant will be quite the busy man on July 1st and beyond, with the current Oklahoma City Thunder star reportedly set to meet with six teams (Thunder, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Boston Celtics) when he hits unrestricted free agency.

Two franchises that "are not expected" to land a face-to-face meeting with the four-time scoring champion are the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards, a source told USA Today Sports' Sam Amick.

The New York Knicks could also end up on Durant's radar, especially after acquiring former league Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose in a trade with the Chicago Bulls.

Los Angeles has struck out in recent free agency, losing out on several big-name talents while attempting to rebuild its roster. A young core is in place with the likes of D'Angelo Russell, Julius Randle, and newly drafted Brandon Ingram, but even with the backdrop of Hollywood and the opportunity for even more fame, there may not be enough in Laker Country to convince Durant to lock in.

The Wizards had high hopes that they'd be in the mix, considering Durant is a hometown kid. The team even went ahead and hired his former head coach in OKC in Scott Brooks, although members of the organization affirm that wasn't done to lure him to the nation's capital.

It was reported last month the 27-year-old wasn't interested in going home because he didn't want the potential distraction of any false friends and family reaching out to him and looking to leach off of his success.

Durant will ultimately base his decision around which team can give him the best chance to win. The Thunder recently dealt Serge Ibaka to the Orlando Magic in exchange for a package including Victor Oladipo, they can pay him more money over more years by owning his Bird rights, and recently came within one game of reaching the NBA Finals, so the possibility remains that Durant simply stays put.

In 72 appearances this past season, Durant averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and five assists while shooting 50.5 percent from the field for the 55-27 Thunder.

He will also suit up for Team USA in Rio de Janeiro this summer during the Olympic Games in August.
