If Brett Lawrie had hit throughout his tenure with the Toronto Blue Jays like he has this weekend at U.S. Cellular Park, they might not have been so keen to trade him a couple winters ago.

Lawrie, now with the Chicago White Sox, went 3-for-4 in Friday's series opener against his former team and smacked a pair of homers Saturday, including an second-inning, inside-the-park home run off R.A. Dickey that kicked off a sequence of back-to-back-to-back homers in which Dioner Navarro and J.B. Shuck also went yard.

Acquired by Chicago from Oakland this past winter, Lawrie is the first White Sox player with an inside-the-park homer since Scott Podsednik hit one Sept. 12, 2009, and the first player to notch one at U.S. Cellular Field since 2000.
