Kevin Durant will meet with prospective suitors in Los Angeles after free agency commences at midnight E.T. on July 1 (9 p.m. Pacific on June 30), according to sources of the New York Daily News' Frank Isola.
No conclusions should be drawn from this reported development. Durant has an offseason home in southern California, and the region is a mecca for NBA players during the summer. Last year for instance, LaMarcus Aldridge did the same as a free agent.

It is expected that in addition to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs will be granted meetings with the prized free agent. Others are possible as well.
