If you're a prospective general manager hoping to jump into the lottery, this is the draft for you.
ESPN's Chad Ford reports that selections No. 3 through to No. 8 are being shopped leading up to Thursday's NBA Draft. Each team has the same goal of making an immediate upgrade.
Selection | Team |
---|---|
3 | Celtics |
4 | Suns |
5 | Timberwolves |
6 | Pelicans |
7 | Nuggets |
8 | Kings |
By all accounts, the 2016 draft class is shaping up as a two-player draft. Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram are blue-chip prospects, but prognosticators remain significantly less impressed with the remaining crop. It would appear teams share a similar opinion.
The likes of Jamal Murray, Kris Dunn, Marquese Chriss, Dragan Bender, Jaylen Brown, and Buddy Hield represent the second-tier of prospects in the draft.
