In order to facilitate Brock Lesnar's return to the UFC, the promotion waived its policy that requires fighters to give the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency four months notice before competing.

In the two weeks since he was officially made available, however, the USADA has drug tested Lesnar five times, according to the USADA website.

UFC vice president of health and performance Jeff Novitzky confirmed to Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting that Lesnar has been tested at least three times, and that more will likely come before his fight against Mark Hunt on July 9.

"I'd expect there are even more to come as well before UFC 200," Novitzky said.

The UFC's decision to waive its policy was met with criticism, including from Hunt. However, the promotion said the extenuating circumstances of Lesnar's near four-and-a-half-year absence from the Octagon led them to bend the rules for the 38-year-old.

The former heavyweight champion has spent the intervening time since he left the UFC with the WWE, where he was subject to multiple drug tests per year.
