Oklahoma State scoops up defensive tackle DeQuinton Osborne from Baylor

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Defensive tackle DeQuinton Osborne originally committed to play at Baylor coming out of Kilgore Junior College.

However, with everything that has transpired at Baylor, the 6-foot, 310 pound Osborne was granted a release from the Bears program and has now committed to Oklahoma State.

"I liked the coaches and the campus is beautiful," Osborne told Robert Allen of scout.com. "I can see myself playing football here the next two years and enjoying being at the school. I enjoyed everything about my visit. Yes, I am happy to know where I am going to be playing football and going to school for the next two years."

At Kilgore College, the Grand Prairie, Texas native, received first-team NJCAA All-American honors last year with the Rangers as well as being selected the Defensive Player of the Year.

Osborne will report to Oklahoma State on July 6th and partake in the second semester of summer classes.
