Watch: Yedlin picks up 2 yellow cards in a matter of seconds
There's a reason yellow cards are called "cautions" - they're a warning that further trouble will not be tolerated ... a lesson DeAndre Yedlin learned the hard way.
At the opening of the second half of their opening-round match at the Copa America on Saturday, the United States defender came in with a hard tackle on Paraguay midfielder Miguel Almiron, which drew a yellow card from referee Julio Bascunan. Then, less than one minute later, Yedlin went in on yet another ill-timed tackle on defender Miguel Samudio
At that point, Bascunan had no choice, brandishing a red card, sending Yedlin to the locker room with over half an hour remaining in the match.
That's DeAndre Yedlin's 1st career international red card (2nd yellow). He will miss the next match if USA advances #USAvPAR

To adjust, and needing at least a draw to advance, U.S. manager Jurgen Klinsmann removed goal-scorer Clint Dempsey to reinforce his back four once more with the introduction of Michael Orozco.
