Switzerland benefitted from Etrit Berisha's error when the Albania 'keeper misjudged a cross into the box during the opening minutes of Saturday's encounter.

As the Albanian netminder attempted to get his fists on Xherdan Shaqiri's corner into the penalty area, Fabian Schar took advantage of Berisha's miscalculation and thumped a header into the back of the net 10 minutes into the tie.
