The melding of pop culture and politics is not lost on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and the WWE champion-turned-Hollywood superstar says he hasn't ruled out a run for public office one day.
"I'll be honest, I haven't ruled politics out," he told the British edition of GQ. "I can't deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives on a global scale."
Johnson has dual U.S. and Canadian citizenship, and there is precedence with wrestling stars getting elected: Jesse Ventura served as governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003.
