Jarrett Stidham announces he'll remain at Baylor

Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham announced via social media Monday that he'll remain with the Bears for the remainder of his collegiate career.

Stidham followed the social-media lead of senior quarterback Seth Russell, who took to Instagram last week to comment on the program's situation.

The news came shortly after it was reported Jim Grobe will be hired as interim head coach following the firing of Art Briles.

Stidham, a sophomore, threw for 1265 yards and 12 touchdowns last season filling in for Russell, who was lost for the season when he fractured a bone in his neck.
