Thompson apologizes for leaving Lacob hanging

You know how these missed-dap situations go: Player inadvertently leaves person hanging, social media mocks person, then player makes amends.

Klay Thompson followed that script Monday, saying he apologized to Golden State Warriors coordinator of basketball operations Kent Lacob for snubbing his attempted high-five after the Dubs' 108-101 Game 6 win in Oklahoma City.

Thompson did admit the whole thing was pretty funny, though.

Kent is the son of Warriors owner Joe Lacob, who at the moment in question was hugging Thompson right after bowing down to him following his 41-point season-saving performance. The scene wasn't lost on another Lacob, Kirk, who savaged his younger brother with today's mark of shame - the Crying Jordan.
