Fan pays $58K for 2 tickets to Game 7 of West final
Monday's Game 7 between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder might be the most highly anticipated game of the season, and the price fans are willing to pay for it is proof.
The Warriors released what few remaining tickets were left for the Western Conference's deciding clash, and those tickets, which ranged from $230 to $2,150, sold out in less than five minutes, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
In addition, Rovell reports that one consumer paid $29,000 per ticket for two floor seats sold on the Warriors' resale website, while the average price of tickets sold on StubHub was $824.
The defending champion Warriors are looking to add to their already historic season by becoming just the 10th team ever to rally from a 3-1 series deficit.
