Antoine Griezmann squandered a brilliant chance to get Atletico Madrid level just minutes into the second half of Saturday's Champions League final, after Fernando Torres won his side a penalty by expertly goading Pepe into a poor challenge inside the penalty area.

Griezmann, the team's talismanic attacker, stepped up to the spot, but proceeded to cannon his spot-kick off the crossbar.
