Before he was the "I'm just here so I won't get fined" guy, former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was known to non-football fans as "that player who eats Skittles."

Now that Lynch is retiring, the Seahawks have found a new "Skittles guy."

Defensive tackle Jarran Reed flashed a bag of the famous candy to the camera as he walked across the NFL draft stage following his selection by the Seahawks.

It was a rather surprising amount of excitement for the last player out of the green room, but the candy in his hand and the hat on his head probably had something to do with it.

On Thursday, Reed received some love back from his favorite candy company.

Lynch had a healthy partnership with the good people at Skittles and now a new Seahawk will take the reign.
