Curry's shooting elbow develops intense swelling during Game 2

Stephen Curry put on one of his trademark shooting displays during the third quarter of Wednesday's Game 2 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but it's once again the MVP's health that concerns Golden State Warriors fans.

Curry appeared to be glancing at his right elbow throughout the night after crashing into the stands in the first quarter, and also landed on the elbow after getting tangled with Russell Westbrook on the perimeter.

By the time Curry left the court after a 17-point, third-quarter explosion - which included a 15-point run in less than two minutes - he was sporting an obvious lump on his shooting elbow.

If there's reason for optimism, however, it's the fact Curry checked back into the game with the Warriors up nearly 30 points midway through the fourth quarter.

On the flip side, the swelling appears awfully similar to the bursa sac that seemingly plagued Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry's shooting after Lowry tumbled onto the elbow earlier in the season.

Ankle and knee injuries have forced Curry to sit out six of Golden State's 12 playoff games thus far.
