Lewis Hamilton dedicated his second consecutive win at the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday to a very special old friend.

Minutes after locking up his victory in Montreal, Hamilton took to Twitter to dedicate his win to the late Muhammad Ali, who died Friday at the age of 74:

Hamilton has previously credited Ali with being one of his biggest influences and inspirations in his championship victories. As Hamilton attempted to close a 29-point gap with Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg in 2014, he told Andrew Benson of the BBC that his effort was inspired by Ali's "rope-a-dope" win over George Foreman in 1974.
