Report: Green pushing to attend Game 5 despite suspension

Draymond Green doesn't want his one-game suspension to keep him from catching his Golden State Warriors potentially close out a second-straight NBA championship.
The All-Star forward is pushing league officials to allow him to attend Game 5 of the NBA Finals, even though is suspension prevents him from entering the arena, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.
NBA rules state that any player attending a game while under a suspension will be issued a $500 fine, although Green's fine could be substantially larger under these circumstances.
Green's representatives are currently working with the league and players' union to come to a compromise.
A flagrant-1 foul was issued for striking Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James in the groin during Game 4 on Friday. This was Green's fourth flagrant foul point of the playoffs, resulting in the suspension.
Green will, however, be allowed inside to celebrate the Warriors' title victory should his team defeat the Cavs.
