The Golden State Warriors were historically efficient shooting the rock in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

A 3-pointer by reigning MVP Stephen Curry gave the Warriors 17 of them on the night, setting an NBA record for most made by a team in a Finals game.

The previous record was held by the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the 2013 Finals against the Miami Heat.

Stephen Curry led the barrage with a game-high 38 points in 39 minutes of action, converting 7-of-13 from deep. Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes each had four makes from behind the arc, while Andre Iguodala contributed two off the bench.

The Warriors went on to win the game by 11 points, 108-97. They can close out the series and win back-to-back titles at Oracle Arena on Monday.
