Carroll knocked out of Raptors' Game 5 win
Toronto Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll left the third quarter of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat after going down under the basket and suffering a left wrist contusion. He was ruled out shortly after.
X-rays were negative, according to the team.
While that is certainly good news for the Raptors, any extended loss of Carroll would be a colossal blow to their rotation. With their All-Star backcourt of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan mostly underperforming, Carroll has played well in the Miami series, averaging 11.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in five games with a 44.4 percent stroke from outside. While his defense has been hit and miss, it's been integral for Toronto in the postseason.

Carroll was limited to only 26 games this season due to a knee injury.
