Antonio Cromartie, wife welcome twins despite vasectomy
Free-agent cornerback Antonio Cromartie and wife Terricka welcomed twins into the world over the weekend.
Jynx Revell-Antonio Cromartie was born five minutes before twin sister J'adore Nayvi Cromartie, a representative of the Cromarties told US Weekly.
"It was the most amazing, yet rewarding gift to give birth on Mother's Day. This is a storybook fairy-tale for Antonio and I," Terricka told US.
The couple has two previous children together, daughter Jurzie, 5, and son Jagger, 3. Cromartie has eight other children from previous relationships.
In 2010, while a member of the New York Jets, Cromartie famously recalled the names of his children during an interview on HBO's Hard Knocks.
The Cromarties didn't necessarily expect to add another child, let alone twins, considering Antonio underwent a vasectomy in 2011, but consider it a blessing.
"It took me a while to process it," Terricka said, "but Antonio stood firm and was saying, 'It’s God’s will.' And he's been excited the whole time."
