Report: Rockets interview David Blatt for head coach

The Houston Rockets continue to canvass for their next head coach.

ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the Rockets will interview former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt on Monday.

Blatt has also reportedly met with the New York Knicks, and has been linked to the Sacramento Kings' vacancy.

Before getting unceremoniously dismissed in February, Blatt amassed a record of 83-40 while leading the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals in 2015.

He's one of the most decorated coaches in the international ranks, having earned four Israeli League Coach of the Year awards along with the Euroleague Coach of the Year title in 2014.

However, Blatt apparently struggled to maintain a hold on his locker room during his tenure in Cleveland. According to former Cavaliers center Brendan Haywood, Blatt was afraid to hold LeBron James accountable. Other unnamed sources told reporters that Blatt had lost the locker room entirely toward the end.
