Report: Leicester City joins list of Ousmane Dembele suitors

It's official: every football club in Europe wants Rennes' teenage sensation Ousmane Dembele, with reports suggesting recently crowned Premier League champ Leicester City is the latest to express an interest in the player.

With Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester City all reportedly monitoring the French-born striker, Leicester has emerged as the next party expressing a desire to sign the player, according to a report from ESPN FC.

Fresh off being named Ligue 1's Young Player of the Year, Dembele, 18, has become one of the continent's most coveted young talents on the heels of a breakthrough 12-goal season.

Reports suggest Les Rouges et Noirs will demand €30 million for the emerging talent, which Leicester could easily afford with the impending TV money paired with Champions League proceeds.

Despite Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri's insistence that the East Midlands' outfit doesn't need blockbuster summer signings for next season's continental campaign, reinforcing a squad that only fielded 19 players is a necessity.

"We don't need the superstars. We need our players. You see (in January) we bought Demarai Gray, we bought Daniel Amartey.

"It is too early to say we need five, six, seven or eight players. We have to see, I would like to maintain all my players."

Even if Leicester becomes one of many clubs to battle for the teenage goal-machine, Dembele appears to favour Borussia Dortmund, if reading into his online activities is any indication of a potential summer destination.
