Watch: Grand slam caps Aaron Hill's 3-HR game
Aaron Hill entered the three-home run club in grand style.
The Milwaukee Brewers infielder hit a career-high three home runs Saturday, but saved his biggest blast for the end - a tie-breaking 10th-inning grand slam off Cincinnati Reds reliever Caleb Cotham to break a 6-6 tie at Great American Ball Park. Milwaukee would go on to win 13-7.
Hill's first blast, a two-run shot, came in the sixth inning off Reds starter Brandon Finnegan.
He then smacked a solo shot in his next at-bat off J.C. Ramirez to knot the game at 6-6.
The 34-year-old had five two-homer games in his career, the most recent coming on Aug. 19, 2012, while with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He also set a new career high with seven RBIs in the contest, almost doubling his previous high of four.
Hill is the 19th player in Brewers history to hit three home runs in one game. His teammate, Ryan Braun, was the last Brewer to do so in 2014. Ben Oglivie had three such games over his Milwaukee career while the team played in the American League.
