Wow.

Giancarlo Stanton, as he's wont to do, absolutely murdered a baseball Friday night at Marlins Park, nearly sending his timely, two-run blast out of the stadium entirely in the eighth after Hector Neris missed down the middle with an 87-mph offering.

Stanton's 10th homer of the year traveled a whopping 475 feet, according to Statcast, giving the 26-year-old easily the longest round-tripper of 2016 and the second-longest in all of baseball since his 2010 debut. The only home run hit further (494 feet) in the last six years? Yeah, Stanton hit that one, too.
