Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is celebrating a major accomplishment this offseason as he will become the first member of his family to graduate from college.

Cobb will join the University of Kentucky's commencement ceremony on Sunday and officially get his diploma when he completes two courses over the summer.

"It really is a major accomplishment for not only me but my family," Cobb said in a Kentucky produced video on his graduation. "I'll be the first one to graduate in my immediate family. I'm trying to change generations, change everyone who comes after me. Because I believe education is important. The older I get, the more I understand how important it is. Yes, I've been able to be successful on the field, but I want to be successful in as many fields as I can."

Cobb left school early when he was drafted by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Since entering the league he's become an integral part of one of the league's best offenses.

In five seasons. Cobb has caught 306 passes for 3,978 yards and 31 touchdowns.
