Millsap calls Cavaliers' 3-point onslaught in Game 2 unprofessional

Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals was a dark day for the Atlanta Hawks, who not only got blown out by the Cleveland Cavaliers to go down 2-0 in the series, but were on the receiving end of the greatest 3-point performance by a team in NBA history.

The Cavaliers drained a record 25 3-pointers on 45 attempts, with 10 different players on the roster connecting from behind the arc.

Following the defeat, Hawks All-Star forward Paul Millsap made it known that he took exception to the way Cleveland continued to hoist up shots from deep late in the game, even though they were well ahead on the scoreboard.

"It's a certain way of being a professional," Millsap told Cleveland.com's Chris Haynes. "I'm not mad about it, but just being professionals man. If that's how you want to approach it, that's how you approach it. I think our team and our organization has class and I don't think we would have continued to do that, but other organizations do other things so what can you do about it?"

Head coach Tyronn Lue's group attempted seven more 3-pointers during the final six minutes, despite holding a 28-point lead.

Had the shoe been on the other foot, Hawks big man Al Horford believes his team would have done things a lot differently.

"We probably wouldn't do anything like that (if we were in that position)," he said. "... It's hard to say, but I would say no."

There's still plenty of basketball left to be played, with the semifinals now heading back to Philips Arena for Games 3 and 4. Atlanta will need to hold down their home court to even the series up at 2, or risk being bounced by the Cavs for the second year in a row.
