The Atlanta Falcons had a good start to last season, but struggled down the stretch, fumbling away a playoff chance after a 6-1 start, so coach Dan Quinn decided it was time to toughen up.

The Falcons hosted members of the Navy SEALs last week during their offseason workouts to motivate the team and put players through an authentic workout.

"Just to push through the rough times," Falcons cornerback Robert Alford told the Atlanta Journal Constitution about the main message. "In every game you're going to have some downs and you have to come together as a group and decide that you want to push yourself up out of it. You've got look to push the next person."
