Mike Mayock's power within the draft community knows no bounds.
When German wide receiver Moritz Boehringer visited the NFL Network set during Day 3 coverage on Saturday, he indicated the Minnesota Vikings, his favorite team, had been showing the most interest.
Draft expert Mike Mayock responded to this comment by having head coach Mike Zimmer call him during a break, and Boehringer was the newest member of the Vikings shortly thereafter.
Lesson learned for @MikeMayock -- Coach Zimmer is always listening.

In reality, the conversation with Zimmer almost certainly had nothing to do with the eventual selection at No. 180.
Even if it's nothing more than a coincidence, perhaps more prospects will be hoping to have Mayock reach out on their behalf.
