49ers acquire 28th overall pick in trade with Chiefs

The San Francisco 49ers acquired the 28th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft through a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday.
In exchange, the 49ers will send the Chiefs their second-, fourth- and sixth-round picks.
The selection at 28 will be the 49ers' second of the first round after drafting Oregon defensive lineman DeForest Buckner at No. 7.
