It's probably safe to assume the New York Mets are over Daniel Murphy.

His replacement, Neil Walker, hasn't stopped mashing all season, after all, and the newly acquired second baseman continued his torrid April on Wednesday when he tied Bryce Harper for the MLB lead in home runs with his ninth round-tripper of 2016.

Less than four weeks into the season, the 30-year-old is already halfway to his home-run total from last year (16), and has now tied the Mets franchise record for home runs in April, matching the previous high-water mark established by Dave Kingman in 1976 (which was subsequently matched by Carlos Delgado and John Buck, as well).
