The Los Angeles Rams aren't telling anyone who they plan to pick first overall - not even the pick himself.

Rams head coach Jim Fisher kept his lips sealed about who the Rams have in mind at a press conference on Tuesday, although its widely assumed to be either Jared Goff or Carson Wentz.

"We’ll probably pick an offensive player," Fisher said, according to Pro Football Talk. "That’s about all we can say right now."

Fisher explained his reasoning behind keeping the secret from the future Ram, whoever that may be.

"We’ll get in touch with the player just before putting the card in," Fisher said. "There’s only a few things better in life than this phone call, these phone calls that are going to take place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It’s a great opportunity and we don’t want to deny our pick the opportunity to experience that."

With the Eagles reportedly coveting Wentz ahead of trading up to the second-overall spot, there is a high probability that Goff, the California native, will be the Rams' pick.
