Miami Dolphins highly paid defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was among four starters to miss voluntary workouts, and his teammates are reportedly not happy with the star lineman.

Suh has chosen not to attend because he prefers to train at the Nike facility in Oregon during the offseason, and has missed voluntary workouts in the past.

Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports that Suh's "teammates are privately steamed" about his absence from workouts after his displays of selfishness throughout last season.

There's no requirement for players to attend voluntary workouts, but being the only player to skip the program without a personal excuse won't help Suh repair the damage caused by his actions last season.

Defensive end Mario Williams is missing camp due to an unforeseen personal issue, linebacker Koa Misi is absent due to illness, and safety Reshad Jones is holding out for a new contract.

Coach Adam Gase didn't comment on Suh, but did make a comment about Jones that could be applied to the defensive tackle's situation.

"I'm not going to get upset about anything on the first day of voluntary veteran minicamp," Gase said. "We'll see how everything goes once we get to June."
