VIDEO: McGrady tells Carter 'I wish I had stayed' in Toronto
Toronto Raptors fans will never know how far the team could have gone had Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady played more than just two seasons together in the 6ix.
McGrady eventually bolted to the Orlando Magic on a six-year contract, where he'd make multiple All-Star teams and win two scoring titles as the go-to guy.
Looking back on his playing days during a recent episode of ESPN's "The Jump" with Carter by his side, McGrady told his cousin and host Rachel Nichols what could very well be the biggest regret of his career.
"I wish I had stayed," McGrady said. "I had grown the two years that we played together, but I know I could have continued to elevate my game and evolve into the player that I became. Even playing alongside him. I regret that I did leave, because Toronto was a beautiful city."
