Bargain Plays - A Pair of Cardinals Flying Under the DFS Radar

Here are the top bargain plays for Monday's 11-game slate:

OF Jeremy Hazelbaker (Cardinals), vs. Brewers

With Astros 1B Tyler White and Rockies SS Trevor Story taking the fantasy world over, Hazelbaker has been efficient himself - providing tremendous fantasy value for DFS owners. Through his first six games, Hazelbaker went 6-for-15 with two homers, four RBIs and two stolen bases.

He's everything you want in a buy-low option and has yet to see his price increase on DFS sites, remaining the bare minimum. That makes him one of the top options of the day, even if he can't maintain last week's torrid pace.

SS Aledmys Diaz, Cardinals (vs. Brewers)

Diaz's upside is limited due to an extremely small sample size, but not many DFS owners know of him - resulting in a minuscule ownership percentage.

Like Hazelbaker, Diaz is off to a hot start with the Cardinals. His cost has risen on some DFS sites but he brings plenty of power. He's 5-for-11 at the plate and has knocked in four RBI over his past three outings, making him worth a flier in tournaments.

SP Brandon Finnegan, Reds (at Cubs)

Finnegan pitched an absolute gem for the Reds on Opening Day, registering a ridiculous 0.67 WHIP while surrendering just two runs on three hits and a walk.

He's the perfect tournament play against a Cubs lineup loaded with heavy hitters. He lacks run support which could result in a no-decision or loss but his high strikeout potential and cheap price point provides owners with the opportunity to spend up elsewhere.
