In a tremendously disappointing season for the Houston Rockets, nobody's performance will be without scrutiny. To that end, general manager Daryl Morey and interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff will be reviewed thoroughly, according to ESPN's Marc Stein and Calvin Watkins.

The Rockets are still alive in the playoff race, one game behind the eighth-place Utah Jazz going into Saturday, but it's been a long drop from a 56-win team that reached the Western Conference finals a year ago.

Bickerstaff took over for the fired Kevin McHale in November, but the change didn't translate record-wise. The team has been playing at a sub-.500 clip all season. Rockets owner Leslie Alexander has already said Bickerstaff would be re-assessed at season's end - a procedure the interim bench boss appears unfazed by.

"No, not at all, that's not even a issue (or) a concern," Bickerstaff said Saturday.

Morey, meanwhile, has been overseeing basketball operations with the team since 2007. Known as a bold thinker and early adopter of basketball analytics thanks to his background in strategy consulting, the Rockets have yet to post a losing season since he took over.

Morey's contract currently runs until 2017-18, but reportedly faces a degree of uncertainty given Houston's well-documented chemistry issues.

Significant roster changes figure to be coming either way, with center Dwight Howard expected to opt out of his contract this summer. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Morey appeared to hint last month the Rockets would make no attempt to retain him.
