Hoiberg uses 'Dumb and Dumber' clip to motivate Bulls
The Chicago Bulls - still alive in the postseason race thanks to the Indiana Pacers' inability to defeat what was essentially the Toronto Raptors' D-League squad Friday - need a miracle of epic proportions to reach the playoffs.
Cognizant of this is head coach Fred Hoiberg, who told reporters Saturday that he spliced this clip from "Dumb and Dumber" into a morning video session:
Of course, Lloyd Christmas was eliminated from any contention for Mary Swanson's heart soon after, when he was introduced to her husband. A similar fate awaits the Bulls, as early as Saturday if they lose to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Should Chicago prevail against the East-leading Cavs, the Pacers would again be able to knock out the Bulls with a win Sunday over the Brooklyn Nets.
