Jeremy Smith was recalled on an emergency basis late in the morning, but didn't make it in time for warmups, prompting Rask to at least take the ice.

Smith did, however, make it in time for the game, thanks to a police escort.
Gustavsson has an 11-8-1 record with a .910 save percentage in 23 games this season.
