Filipe Luis rips UEFA after Suarez avoids red card: 'They protect Barca'
Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis didn't mince words when asked how he felt about the red card handed to his teammate, Fernando Torres, in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona.
The Spanish striker was ejected in the first half for a pair of fouls in quick succession, but Luis says those two yellow cards weren't warranted.
"It was a totally unfair red card, his second foul and his second yellow," he said. "We knew that was going to happen, Barcelona in the Champions League. We have to play against everybody and everything."

It's the fifth time an Atletico Madrid player has been red carded in as many games against Barcelona, and the absence of Torres up top left Luis' side gasping for air in a match that eventually ended 2-1.
Luis also questioned why Luis Suarez, who scored both Barcelona goals in the second half, wasn't sent off for a pair of transgressions - including a clear kick-out at Juanfran in the opening stanza.
"They protect Barca," Luis fumed. "There is a worry that they’re going to get knocked out. I don’t know what [a Barcelona player] has to do to get sent off."
