LSU linebacker Kendell Beckwith went down with a knee injury Thursday during a spring practice session, but it doesn't appear to be serious, as the team announced his MRI results came back negative.
The news comes as a big relief for the Tigers coaching staff, as initial reports suggested the injury could be serious.

Beckwith elected to return to LSU for his senior season, rather than leave school early in favor of the NFL draft. He started all 12 games as a junior in 2015, and finished second on the team with 84 tackles, including nine for loss.
