Report: Solomona Tapasa hired as Southern Utah DC

Former Sacramento State defensive line coach Solomona Tapasa has been hired as Southern Utah's defensive coordinator, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.
The job is Tapasa's first time running a defense, having previously worked with offensive and defensive lines.
Southern Utah finished atop the Big Sky standings, allowing the fewest points against in the conference. Tapasa will be tasked with assuring the Thunderbirds defense remains intact.
