Report: Georgia's Justin Scott-Wesley could return next month after surgery

Jim Brown / USA TODAY Sports

Georgia wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley could return to action by the start of August practice, despite recently undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, according to Seth Emerson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The 5-foot-11, 201 pounder has struggled with knee problems in the past.

He tore his anterior cruciate ligament five games into the 2013 season, though it is currently unknown whether this recent surgery was done on the same knee that he previously injured.

Scott-Wesley has faced difficulties since that injury, registering only three receptions, 52 yards and one touchdown in six games last season with the Bulldogs.
