Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott medically cleared following lengthy wrist issue

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott is coming off a terrific season in which he ran for 1,878 yards and 18 touchdowns en route to a national title.

He accomplished that after breaking his left wrist in fall camp and undergoing minor surgery in August.

He underwent more surgery on the wrist after the season, causing him to miss spring practice, but it seems the issue is finally behind him.

Elliott served as the Buckeyes' feature back for the bulk of the 2014 season and figures to do so again in 2015. After what he was able to accomplish with one arm last season, opposing defenses figure to have their hands full when Elliott carries the rock in the fall.
