Oklahoma safety Hatari Boyd was cited earlier this week on complaints of drug possession and unlawful possession of alcohol.

The 20-year-old was stopped by police for speeding when an odor of marijuana caught the attention of the officer, according to Guerin Emig of Tulsa World.

The K9 unit was called in, and they found a small plastic bag containing marijuana, as well as an open bottle of Fireball Whisky on the passenger floor.

Byrd recorded 17 tackles, three pass breakups and a forced fumble in his sophomore season with the Sooners.
