LSU will march the rest of the season without a key instrument of its secondary.

According to the Baton Rouge Advocate, cornerback Dwayne Thomas will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

He sustained the injury in the second quarter of No. 15 LSU's 63-7 win over New Mexico State on Saturday. Thomas is currently fifth on the team with 24 tackles.

Coach Les Miles said freshman safety Jamal Adams along with freshman cornerback Ed Paris will see action in Thomas's spot.
