Texas A&M, Notre Dame set home-and-home series

Texas A&M and Notre Dame just beefed up their non-conference matchups, more than ten years in advance.

According to an Aggies news release, the two schools have organized a home-and-home series with the first matchup being at College Station in 2024 and the second at South Bend in 2025. 

Yes, it's a very long time from now, and the schools will have completely new faces, but it's worth the wait to see these two powerhouses face off.

“When you think of tradition-rich football programs, Texas A&M and Notre Dame are at the top of the list,” Texas A&M director of athletics Eric Hyman said. “We are delighted to have them back on the schedule again for the first time since 2001.”

The two schools have squared off five times on the gridiron, with Notre Dame leading the series 3-2.
