Pittsburgh's James Conner breaks Tony Dorsett record

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

James Conner continues to tear apart opposing defenses for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

The sophomore running back broke Tony Dorsett's school record for most rushing yards in the first three games of a season. On Saturday against Florida International, Conner broke loose for 177 yards on 31 carries, scoring three times.

Conner has eight TDs to go with his 544 yards rushing. If he keeps this up he'll end up with 2,180 yards rushing and 24 TDs.
