Halftime report: No. 14 Ole Miss having its way with UL Lafayette

Spruce Derden / USA TODAY Sports

In college football, no lead is safe. Both Virginia Tech and Louisville exemplified this in games earlier today.

In the first 30 minutes of Miss vs UL, No. 14 Ole Miss wiped the floor with  Lafayette with a 28-6 lead, spurred by pivot Bo Wallace.

This is a milestone day for the senior. His 290 yards on 20-for-24 passing and three touchdowns in the first half are the highest in the league and his TD passes tied his career best.

Senior wide receiver Vince Sanders also come to play, racking up 126 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions, while running back I'Tavius Mathers rushed in for the Rebels' other TD.
