Chigbu is listed as the 27th best wide receiver and the 221st prospect overall  in the 2015 recruiting class by Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Chigbu caught 48 passes for 785 yards and six touchdowns as a high school junior at last season.

"The most important thing was being able to be able to compete in the SEC," Chigbu told The Times-Picayune. "I wanted to be happy with the coaches and being able to live in that state. Both schools are amazing. Both head coaches, the recruiting corners, the players, everything was amazing."
