Syracuse's Babers: Clemson's defensive line is 'OMG'

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

Dino Babers may be 56 years old, but the Syracuse coach sounds well-versed in the the language of today's youth.

When asked for his thoughts on Clemson's dominant defensive line ahead of Friday's contest against the defending national champions, Babers channeled his inner millennial.

"Their front four is OMG," Babers told Andrea Adelson of ESPN.

It's a pretty apt description for what's arguably the best defensive front in the country, as the Tigers rank third in the nation this season with 22 sacks.

Austin Bryant leads the way with five sacks and 11 tackles for loss. Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, and Dexter Lawrence make up the rest of the formidable unit with a combined six sacks and seven tackles for loss.

Syracuse will have its hands full with that quartet when the nation's 32nd-ranked offense attempts to pull off a stunning upset Friday night.
